Under the leadership of the Vice President, Organisational Development and Strategy, the Director, Learning and Talent Development is accountable for the operational management and service delivery of the Learning and Talent Development Team. Key responsibilities include: - Responsible for developing, implementing and managing the learning and development strategy, policies, programs and initiatives in alignment with BHB corporate strategic plan. - Helps drive employee engagement in BHB’s mission, values, priorities and strategies by integrating components of the corporate plan into course designs and the department’s programs and initiatives. - Develops and oversees the implementation of on boarding programs for new hires, including orientation and training. - Identifies, prepares and tracks key metrics associated with learning and talent development (that is, mandatory training, training attendance and compliance, etc.). - Leads, coaches and develops the Learning and Talent Development team to deliver high quality, engaging, and effective learning experiences to employees across BHB. - Manages the Reference Library and associated Memorandum of Understanding with the Bermuda College.
