Key responsibilities include: Facilitates clinical management and flow of patient care Facilitates appropriate human, material and other resources to ensure effective patient care Ensures the delivery of an interdisciplinary, coordinated approach to patient care, including supervising Nursing, Administrative and Hospital Services on evenings, nights, holidays and weekend shifts Provide coaching, teaching, direction and supervision of all staff members on duty during assigned shifts Acts as hospital management liaison to all internal departments, the community and external clinical partners as needed to facilitate patient care Qualifications &/ Registration required: Registered Nurse Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school preferred 3 years of progressive management experience Broad based clinical knowledge and competencies Current Registration with Bermuda Nursing Council Current BLS certification is required. Current ACLS and PALS certification is an asset Demonstrated behavior congruent with organizational values and leadership competencies as defined by the Bermuda Hospitals Board Schedule: 35 hours per week. Includes weekends and Public Holidays Pre-employment substance abuse screening is mandatory for all successful candidates.
