This role is responsible for unloading and loading luggage, freight, and cargo on and off commercial aircraft, in the outbound bag room and the baggage claim area. Driving and operating small specialized commercial vehicles. Position requires heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching and frequent kneeling. Adheres to all standards, procedures ensuring all work is performed safely and is supported by following established procedures and protocols. Key Duties and Responsibilities include: Comfortably and continuously lift/move 70 lbs. of cargo and baggage, operate motorized equipment, handle customer baggage and sort through baggage for each airline, ensure safe and secure operations, attend mandatory training.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older; valid driver's license; comfortable lifting 70lbs; comfortable working in all weather conditions; pass background check and obtain US Customs Seal; available for variable shifts including weekends and holidays; prior loading and unloading experience preferred.
