Saltus is seeking a Teacher of Mathematics for Middle and Senior School levels commencing August 2026. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics with a focus on deep conceptual understanding, mathematical reasoning, and problem solving in alignment with the BC Curriculum. Responsibilities include delivering AP or equivalent courses, designing learning experiences aligned with BC Curriculum competencies, employing diverse pedagogical approaches (inquiry-based, PBL), and integrating Social Emotional Learning. The role involves contributing to the broader life of the school through extracurricular activities.

Requirements

Recognized graduate qualification at the university level with expertise in Mathematics; Minimum of three years' teaching experience; Experience teaching Advanced Placement or equivalent Mathematics; Ability to teach Statistics is an asset; Eligible for licensure with the Bermuda Educators Council and British Columbia Teacher Certification; Relevant student safety certifications (SCARS, First Aid/CPR/AED); Clean criminal record.
