The successful candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years of work experience in the cleaning industry, including the techniques of all types of cleaning, to include, but not limited to heavy duty cleaning in the use of equipment and chemicals for use in cleaning of floors and carpets, kitchens and restrooms, waste removal, washing walls and windows, hard surfaces, floor polishing, shampooing rugs, and associated maintenance. Will be required to clean, inspect, and maintain equipment and machinery, and will need to use and dispose of hazardous chemicals. Must have knowledge and previous work experience with cleaning chemicals, supplies and material safety. Must be able to work well with others or on their own and be able to handle the pressure of a busy work environment, must be able to maintain clean, hygienic work environments, so therefore must have knowledge of safety requirements; must have ability to handle equipment utilized by the cleaning process. Will be responsible for scheduling and maintaining commercial and residential cleaning contracts/projects and housekeeping. Must be capable of directing, supervising, and training staff, be dependable in fulfilling obligations and have a willingness to lead. Successful individual will have the ability to use logic and reason to identify the strength and weakness of alternative solutions, and to manage one's own time and the times of others. The successful application must have attention to detail, excellent customer service, a solid work ethic and be an exceptional timekeeper. Successful applicant must have excellent communication skills and deal with clients and employees via phone, email and/or in-person. All staff must be willing to work flexible hours and are on-call for: early mornings, nights, weekends and/or holidays as required.
