On behalf of our client, Omega Contracting Ltd., we invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Drywall Finisher. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. A willingness to work extended hours and weekends is essential, as is the ability to monitor project progress and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and a self-motivated attitude are key to the success in this role.

Requirements

Candidates should be fully competent in tasks such as mixing compound, taping, coating, sanding, applying texture, setting beads, and executing Level 5 finishes when required. Experience with GRG systems or similar is also essential. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in both residential and commercial drywall projects, including high-level fit-out environments. Familiarity with various finishing techniques such as form glass, and the ability to work with machine tools and walk on stilts, is highly desirable. Applicants must have reliable transportation and their own tools.
