Anthea Insurance Limited ("Anthea" or "Company") is seeking a seasoned Head of Compliance and Risk in Bermuda. Reporting directly to the CRO, this role holds responsibility for ensuring the Company operates within the legal and regulatory frameworks of the Bermuda Monetary Authority ("BMA"). The successful applicant will act as the primary liaison with regulators and play a pivotal role in shaping the Company's risk culture and strategic direction. This opportunity provides unique exposure to the thriving Innovative Insurance (Class-II) in Bermuda and Asia - the latter being the most prominent growth market in both long-term insurance and digital assets.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in compliance, risk management, analytics, or legal roles. In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of the BMA's regulatory framework. Knowledge of financial regulatory frameworks in Asia, such as Hong Kong SAR, Singapore, South Korea, and Japan is preferred. A university degree in Law, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Professional designations such as ICA, CAMS, or ARM are highly preferred. Exceptional analytical skills with a proven track record of successfully translating complex regulations within financial services into operational processes. Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills are essential for board-level reporting and regulatory engagement. Ability to effectively speak and write in English and Mandarin is a must-have, as effective communication with strategic investors and business partners from Hong Kong SAR is a requirement of the role.
