Vireo Bermuda Ltd. is a Bermudian founded company that offers point-of-sale and consumer credit options to local retailers. They are seeking an Operations and Business Development Lead to be responsible for day-to-day operations, customer and client communications, and the development and management of new clients. The candidate will be a motivated and driven individual who enjoys working in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Operations, including the day-to-day customer and client communications, payment processing, use of custom and local banking applications etc. Business Development, including managing existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities for the company. AML/AFT/KYC reviews and onboarding of new customers and clients. Use of custom software-based tools including detailed UX & UI workflow reporting. Management meetings to review business, clients, processes and workflows. Development of sales, marketing materials and event coordination. Tracking of sensitive company/client finances and bookkeeping activity, creating financial processes. General associated communications, billing and administration responsibilities.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Commerce, Business and/or Marketing along with AML/AFT/KYC qualifications. Experience in the development of start-up business ventures. Relevant professional work experience gained in - Project and resource management and maintenance; Market research and reporting; Data analytics, statistics reporting, internal and external; Financial tracking/reporting, including economic and risk forecasting; Management of software development with an understanding of automation. Excellent professional references, coupled with an innate ability to forge positive long-term relationships.
