Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Professional certification (CA, CPA, or ACCA) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience. Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS and Statutory Accounting Principles. Experience with insurance and reinsurance accounting (premiums, losses, recoveries). Experience working with reinsurance and related contracts and claim recovery processes. Experience working with investment managers for insurance businesses. Experience with Bermuda Monetary Regulatory reporting a plus. Advanced knowledge and use of Excel. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Working knowledge of systems and technology utilized within area of responsibility. Strong financial acumen and analytical skills. Ability to gather information, analyze complex problems, and think logically. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to influence and collaborate with people at different levels within the organization to accomplish a common goal. Motivational and enthusiastic team player.Salary
