On behalf of our client, Forvis Mazars Limited, we are seeking talented individuals to join their audit and assurance practice in the roles of Audit Managers and Audit Seniors. Successful Audit Managers will lead multiple audit engagements at the same time and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, interactive results-based environment. Reporting directly to Senior Audit Managers and Partners, he/she shall manage all engagement fieldwork to ensure quality service and timely delivery of results for a diverse portfolio of clients across several industries including (re) insurance, hedge funds, and international business. Successful Audit Seniors will deliver client services by directing daily progress of fieldwork and testing, as well as preparing and completing reports, accounts, and financial statements. Reporting directly to Managers and Partners, Audit Seniors ensure quality client service, inform leaders of audit engagement status, while managing their own and staff performance.

Requirements

Experience and requirements for Audit Managers: An internationally recognized accounting qualification (eg. CA, ACA, CPA or ACCA) A minimum of 5 years as an auditor in a public accounting firm Experience serving clients in the following sectors a plus - (re) insurance industry, and / or the public sector A strong, current knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP is essential, and knowledge of Canadian and Bermuda Statutory standards would be beneficial A self-motivated individual with the ability to lead teams and mentor others Strong analytical, verbal and computer-literacy skills, particularly Microsoft Office. Experience and requirements for Audit Seniors: Recognized professional qualification: CA, ACA, CPA Minimum of four years’ audit experience Experience within the financial services industry a plus Technical knowledge of both IFRS and US GAAP would be considered advantageous Experience in account reconciliation and financial statement preparation Strong in-charge or senior experience
