This position is responsible for assisting with oversight of the operations to ensure smooth delivery of services under the direction of the Assistant Restaurant Manager or General Manager. Duties include ensuring restaurant readiness, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with staff onboarding and training, handling party/catering bookings, reviewing reservation books, and assisting with weekly scheduling and staff briefings.

Requirements

Applicants must have a Diploma in Food and Beverage Management or equivalent and a minimum of five years’ experience working in a busy restaurant environment inclusive of supervisory experience and training/mentoring staff. Must have knowledge of wine, bar house cocktails, bar inventory and wine pairing. Must be prepared to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and public holidays.
