Responsible for the management of a large, meticulous home, to include the usual household duties, meal preparation, serving and assisting at dinner parties. Household duties include laundry, ironing and all aspects of thorough cleaning and polishing: to include floors and window cleaning, brass/silver and oiling furniture. The role also requires occasional errands including grocery shopping. The successful applicant should have proven experience in managing all aspects of a household, especially as the occupants travel from time to time and must be able to work on own initiative. The applicant should be comfortable living and working within an active home and periodic entertaining. The incumbent will be expected to work 45 hours per week on a flexible schedule, requiring a willingness to work on any weekdays, evenings and weekends as and when required. The individual must be a non-smoker.

Requirements

Proven experience in managing all aspects of a household; At least three years of experience in a similar position; Valid driver's license (or ability to obtain one); Non-smoker; Police background check required; Must work on own initiative and be flexible with hours (45 hours per week including evenings/weekends).
