The Royal Gazette Ltd is seeking applications for a dynamic, experienced and enthusiastic senior news reporter with a nose for a great story, a passion for hard news and politics, and the ability to generate exclusive content on a daily basis. As a senior news reporter within our busy news team you will be writing digital and print stories, sometimes during unsociable hours, and will be expected to cover all kinds of news. You need to be as comfortable covering complex court cases and late-night parliamentary debates as you are conducting voxpops on the street or interviewing the leaders of the country. We want someone who is full of ideas for articles and investigations, doesn't shy away from thorny issues and is unafraid to ask tough questions. You will also need to be able to write excellent copy to tight deadlines, juggle multiple tasks and have the personality to build up a fantastic contacts book. Experience of working in a fast-paced news environment is a must, while video and social media expertise will be considered a plus. Occasionally you may be assigned to any of the company's publications or other assignments within the company.
