The VP – Regulatory Compliance & Conduct is responsible for overseeing the management of the Bank's regulatory compliance and conduct risk frameworks. The role is accountable for regulatory interactions, compliance with applicable regulatory obligations, and the effective management of conduct risk to deliver fair client outcomes and uphold the Bank's ethical standards. The role partners closely with business and compliance stakeholders to promote a strong culture of compliance and conduct, ensuring consistent policy application and robust oversight. Responsibilities include managing regulatory relationships for Bermuda-based subsidiaries, supporting the evolution of the Group's conduct risk program, and providing specialist inputs into the design and execution of Compliance Validation Testing activities.

Requirements

10-12+ years' experience with a regulatory authority or compliance function within a banking, fiduciary or financial services setting. Strong understanding of applicable regulatory frameworks and supervisory expectations in Bermuda. Proven experience in implementing compliance frameworks and managing relationships with regulatory authorities. Excellent communication and report writing skills, with the ability to present complex regulatory matters with clarity. High attention to detail and strong analytical capability. Strong decision-making, influencing, and stakeholder management skills. High ethical standards with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
