Reporting to the Vice President – Finance, Medical, you will oversee monthly financial reporting, account reconciliations, regulatory filings, and year end audit coordination. You will support internal controls, cash management, budgeting, and process improvements while working closely with the Vice President on departmental procedures and key initiatives. Other duties include supervising and coaching junior staff and contributing to special projects as well as project work across the Coralisle Group of Companies as required. Duties include preparing monthly financial statements, ensuring balance sheet and income statement accounts are reconciled, managing corrective actions, and assisting with annual budget preparation.

Requirements

Must possess a professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA). University degree with a major in accounting with a minimum of 3 years' experience preparing financial statements. Strong knowledge of accounting principles at an intermediate or higher level. Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and Word, preferably at an intermediate user level. Experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred. Sage Intacct and Workiva knowledge would be an asset.
