Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will oversee a multidisciplinary team and provide actuarial insight to support pricing, reserving, portfolio management, capital allocation, reinsurance strategy, and business planning. The role requires strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and leadership skills. Responsibilities include reserving leadership and governance, pricing, catastrophe modelling, risk management, portfolio analytics, analytics transformation, and regulatory reporting.
Requirements
FCAS, FIA or equivalent actuarial qualification required with a minimum of 10 years reinsurance experience. Significant experience in leading actuarial functions, catastrophe modelling, exposure and risk management. Extensive pricing and reserving experience across multiple lines of business. Strong practical understanding of SQL, Python, Excel and data visualisation tools. Proven experience modernizing actuarial processes through data architecture and automation.
