Bermuda Waterworks Limited ("BWL") is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Financial Controller to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Assistant Financial Controller plays a key role in the day-to-day management of the Finance Department and its team members, overseeing financial reporting, accounting operations, treasury, budgeting, regulatory compliance and internal controls. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to contribute to a well-established public company while working in a collaborative and professional environment. Key responsibilities include overseeing consolidated financial statements, managing the annual external audit process, overseeing treasury functions, managing accounting operations, and supervising the finance team.

Requirements

Minimum seven (7) years of progressive post-qualification accounting experience, including at least three (3) years in a supervisory or management role. Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, ACA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent). Demonstrated experience preparing consolidated financial statements under IFRS. Strong experience in financial reporting, external audit coordination, treasury management, budgeting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. Advanced Microsoft Excel, ERP systems and financial analysis skills. Must maintain continuing professional education requirements.
