Sompo has a unique opportunity for an Underwriting Technician in our Property team. Our Property Underwriting team provides coverages including, but not limited to, Property All Risks, Fire, Windstorm, Flood, Earthquake, Wildfire, Severe Convective Storm and Terrorism. This position will be based out of our Bermuda office. You will support Property Underwriters throughout the policy lifecycle, including quoting, binding, registration (SAP), policy issuance, and post-bind processing. Key duties include entering and validating submission data, maintaining underwriting files, coordinating with external distribution partners, and tracking outstanding action items.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, preferably within the P&C insurance industry. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
