Reporting to the Claims Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient handling and settlement of claims from first notification through to final resolution. You will investigate claims, assess policy coverage and liability, evaluate damages, maintain accurate claim records, liaise with claimants and service providers, and negotiate settlements within authorized limits. You will also provide limited administrative support to the Claims Department by answering telephone calls, responding to departmental emails, conducting file audits, and participating in projects as assigned. In addition, you will be expected to undertake project work and other duties within the Company as assigned from time to time, as well as across the Coralisle Group of Companies, as required.

Requirements

Diploma in insurance or equivalent qualification preferred.
Strong administration and organizational skills.
Good communication, including verbal, written, negotiating and presentation skills.
Competency in the use and application of standard Microsoft and email software applications to intermediate level is required.
