BNRE Bermuda Services Ltd. (BNRE Services) seek applications to fill the role of Senior Associate, Risk. BNRE Services supports the wholly owned subsidiaries of Brookfield Wealth Solutions. The successful candidate will support the Chief Risk Officer with second line risk management by providing hands-on leadership and monitoring of all risk-related activities for both assets and liabilities. The Senior Associate - Risk will also assist in various aspects of the risk function and may be required to support other entities within the Brookfield Wealth Solutions Group. Responsibilities include assisting in execution and implementation of the ERM framework, performing independent model reviews, providing independent oversight and challenge of investment risks, and ensuring risk policies are refined with industry best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, or similar; Qualified Actuary preferred (FSA preferred or FIA) or near qualification; Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including life and/or annuity product development, reinsurance, insurance M&A, and valuation / financial reporting; Very strong command of Microsoft Excel and programming (e.g. Python, VBA); Strong skills / experience in actuarial modelling (GGY Axis, MG-ALFA/Integrate or AON Pathwise preferred) of life and annuity products; Familiarity with Bermuda Solvency Regime and/or US STAT.
