The Vice President, Investments, External Asset Manager Oversight is responsible for the Group's third-party investment managers and service-provider relationships and contributes to the development and implementation of the Group's investment strategy. The role evaluates portfolio and manager performance, positioning, risk, liquidity and compliance; develops recommendations within the Company's risk framework, Investment Policy Statement and manager guidelines; and provides investment input to operational and control processes owned by Investment Operations, Finance, Investment Risk and other designated functions.

Requirements

Qualified Accountant with experience working across investments within an insurance or reinsurance company, including an active fixed-income environment. CFA designation, or significant progress toward completion, strongly preferred. Experience overseeing third-party managers and service providers across multiple asset classes. Strong knowledge of investment markets, portfolio construction, performance measurement, valuations, impairments, liquidity and investment reporting, together with familiarity with insurance investment regulation, statutory accounting and rating agency capital frameworks. Knowledge of US and non-US fixed income, new investment strategies and derivative applications. Experience preparing decision-oriented materials for senior management, Boards or Investment Committees and using governed data, automation and analytical tools to improve manager monitoring, reporting quality and workflow scalability.
