Smith Technologies Ltd is an information technology consulting firm supporting small and medium businesses, service providers and enterprise clients across Bermuda. We are expanding our team and are seeking a Helpdesk Support Technician to provide onsite IT support to clients. This is a client-facing role. The Technician works onsite at client locations handling day-to-day desktop and user support, and escalates complex issues to senior technical staff as required. Key responsibilities include providing onsite helpdesk and desktop support, troubleshooting hardware and software, setting up user accounts and workstations, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of IT support, helpdesk or desktop support experience. Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Basic knowledge of Active Directory. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills. CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications desired.
