Nautilus Indemnity Limited is seeking a highly skilled Risk and Capital Actuary to strengthen the link between strategy and risk and capital management across the organization. This role will be pivotal in ensuring support for the business through robust risk and capital management using advanced modeling and quantitative frameworks. The successful candidate will support the Chief Risk Officer in overseeing the internal economic capital model, enhance the stress and scenario testing framework, and design and report on measurable risk appetite metrics aligned with regulatory and strategic objectives.
Requirements
Progress towards achieving a fellowship or associate level qualification from an internationally recognized actuarial body (e.g., IFoA, SOA, CAS). A minimum of 10 years of experience in capital modeling, risk management, and quantitative analysis within the insurance or reinsurance industry or consultancy. Proven experience with Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) or Solvency II regimes. Advanced proficiency in actuarial modeling tools and statistical software.
