Our client, AIA Reinsurance Limited (AIA Re), is seeking candidates for the role of Head of Finance. The role is an opportunity to join the local management team in Bermuda, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for all Bermuda Statutory, Management and AIA Group Financial Reporting collaborating closely with AIA leadership locally and at the group level to optimize the finance function. Key responsibilities include financial management and reporting, audit, regulatory and financial compliance, treasury and ALM, and general financial planning and analysis.

Requirements

University degree (business discipline, preferably MBA), accounting qualification (CPA, CA, or equivalent) and qualified actuaries with accounting experience. Minimum 10 years working experience, including life (re) insurance accounting and with the Big 4 accounting firm(s). Technically oriented and experienced working with general ledger and reporting systems (ideally SAP). Strong comprehension of the BMA risk based regulatory regime and experience with Bermuda EBS, UK GAAP and IFRS financial reporting frameworks.
