Freisenbruch Insurance Services Ltd. (FIS), a local Bermudian company providing insurance, pension and broking services to both the domestic and international marketplace, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented all round Systems Analyst to join the IT team. Working under the direction of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Systems Analyst focuses on system reliability, performance, data integrity, and process improvement. This role requires the ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions whilst ensuring the stability and efficiency of the IT environment. Responsibilities include managing IT support requests, supporting testing and deployments, participating in the software development lifecycle, and assisting business users with data reporting using AI technologies, PowerBI, Power Query, and SQL.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
Relevant technical or systems certifications are an asset.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, application support, or IT operations, preferably in the insurance industry.
Experience with business systems, data analysis, and system integration.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Good understanding of IT hardware, infrastructure, cloud environments, and application ecosystems.
Experience working in regulated or data-sensitive environments is preferred.
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
High attention to detail with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Integrity and discretion in handling confidential data.
