• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in relevant field, e.g., Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or other quantitative major.
• Qualified Actuary (ASA at minimum, FSA or FIA Preferred) with 5-7+ years actuarial experience directly aligned to the specific responsibilities for this position.
• Knowledgeable on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to direct and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and direct the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to provide subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to provide direction on complex assignments, projects and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability of their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
