Ironshore Inc is a wholly owned subsidiary of Liberty Mutual Holding Company. We are seeking a Claims Specialist who will work under the direction of the Head of Bermuda Claims and the Financial Lines Claims Manager, and in collaboration with other members of the Bermuda Claims Team. The focus will be on handling a book of Specialty claims (financial lines), but the role will support the department across product lines. Key responsibilities include coordinating claims update meetings, managing a diverse book of complex claims, carrying out coverage and exposure reviews, representing company interests at mediations/arbitrations, and providing underwriting support through loss trend analysis.
Requirements
Financial lines claims handling and/or coverage experience is preferred; Bermuda claims experience is preferred; High level of insurance industry knowledge; Advanced computer literacy skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); Ability to coordinate people and processes; Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills; Flexibility to travel and work extended hours.
