The Reinsurance Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the financial performance of the reinsurance business serving as a bridge between the operational aspects of the reinsurance business and the broader corporate finance function. They provide detailed financial analysis, strategic insights, and risk assessments to support informed decision-making while ensuring the reinsurance portfolio contributes positively to the company's overall financial health and strategic objectives. Duties include financial planning and budgeting, performance analysis and reporting, strategic support for business units, and risk management, capital optimization, compliance, and projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree essential; Internationally recognised accounting designation required with a minimum of 5 years of relevant post qualification experience; 5-7 years prior experience within the (Re)Insurance industry; Financial Planning & Analysis, data analysis, and financial reporting and modelling experience required; Experience and strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards required; Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and budgeting software (Anaplan preferred); Knowledge of SAP GL systems or similar; Ability to work flexible hours to co-ordinate with overseas entities.
