Davies is looking for an Assistant Vice President to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of captive and commercial insurance companies ensuring exceptional service delivery and support growth of our insurance management operations. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of GAAP and statutory financial statements and other statutory reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting and statutory standards; Prepare and present written and oral reports to clients at a senior level; Maintain client related risk management documentation in compliance with Company policies and procedures.

Requirements

A professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent). Minimum 2 years of insurance management experience. Strong understanding of Bermuda insurance regulations and reporting requirements for captive and commercial structures and compliance regulations. Ability to produce consistently accurate work to tight deadlines and with minimal supervision. Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships. Ability to progress issues on own initiative, but sufficient judgement to know when to refer to Senior Management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
