We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual for the position of Head of Reinsurance in our Bermuda office. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, Insurance Management Services, the successful applicant will lead, guide and provide governance to Artex Capital Solutions (ACS) controlled transformation platform as well as lead and provide input through ACS Advisory in the delivery of transformation client solutions. Responsibilities include overseeing all Artex transformation (fronting) vehicles, structuring deals with cedants and investors, and managing BMA applications for licensing.
Requirements
10+ years of relevant experience in the (re)insurance sector with a demonstrated record of accomplishment in designing and executing sophisticated (re)insurance, retrocessional reinsurance, or securitization; Portfolio Underwriting/analytical experience; Insurance qualifications such as CPCU, ACII or ARe required; Ability to analyze reinsurance contracts; Experience with insurance regulators in Bermuda, Cayman, Ireland, Guernsey, and/or the UK is advantageous.
