Lancashire Insurance Company Limited, a member of the Lancashire Insurance Group, is seeking an LICL Senior Credit Reinsurance Underwriter to join our Underwriting Team in Bermuda. The successful applicant is responsible for supporting the LICL Head of Mortgage and Credit Reinsurance to manage, develop and write a Credit Reinsurance book of business.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of combined experience as a Credit (re) insurance broker or credit (re)insurance underwriter. Strong relationships with London Market and European brokers and clients. Self-motivated and fully capable of working on their own initiative. Ability to manage own workload as well as work as part of a team – must be able to work well under pressure. Willingness and ability to work beyond normal office hours and weekend/public holidays to meet tight deadlines. Superior technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, specifically regarding written and verbal communication and presentation. Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to multitask. Accuracy and attention to detail with high standards of work. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and interpersonal skills. Excellent IT skills including MS Office, Word and Excel (Intermediate) skills.
