At HSBC Bermuda, we're a trusted international organisation, offering a full range of banking services to personal and commercial customers. By joining our Risk & Compliance team, you can be part of something bigger. In this role you will be the lead Operational & Resilience Risk ('ORR') risk steward, delivering Second Line of Defence assurance and oversight of Non-Financial Risks, such as technology and cyber security, data, third party, change execution, business interruption, and incident risk. You will provide sound advice and guidance to the First Line of Defence, conduct thematic reviews, and prepare reports for the Risk Management Committee and Audit & Risk Committee.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline required; advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MSc, or PhD). Excellent knowledge of Technology and Cyber Security Risks; professional certification preferred (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or CISA). At least 5 years of demonstrated and applicable experience, ideally in a role performing risk and control reviews. Sound understanding of Operational and Resilience Risk, and the responsibilities of Risk Stewards. Strong Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
