
Additional Main Duties: EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP: (a) Participating in the development of the school curriculum and ensuring the implementation of and compliance with the curriculum. (b) Developing and ensuring the implementation of timetables which may be done in consultation and collaboration with teachers. FINANCIAL AND FACILITIES MANAGEMENT: (a) Managing and controlling the School’s budget, including the preparation of the annual expenditure estimates according to the established principles for submission to the Ministry of Education or the Chairperson of the School’s Board of Governors. (b) Ensuring the timely ordering of all materials and supplies used by the School. PUBLIC RELATIONS: (a) Having responsibility for all public relations activities, including developing and maintaining relationships with parents, businesses, other Government departments and the general public in respect to promoting the activities of the School. (b) Encouraging and fostering community involvement. Additional Skills and Traits: REQUIRED SKILLS:
Additional Tech and Education: The Principal must be a qualified teacher with a Masters Degree in Educational Administration or a closely related area. All applicants must be registered with the Bermuda Educator's Council. Must have a minimum of (10) years’ teaching experience. In addition, a Minimum of (3) years’ experience in an educational leadership position (Teacher Leader, Mentor, etc.) is required.

Provide experiences for school staff through supervising, coaching, mentoring, developing skillsets, empowering leadership roles and responsibilities that will ultimately equip students with the tools to be successful citizens in education, careers and life.
