Health and Safety: Other Working Conditions: Attention to detail Public Transportation Access: Yes Additional Tech and Education: Postholder must possess a Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice or a related field, and/or display specialized skills in working with offender groups. The Manager must be able to respond to the Orders of the Courts, Parole Board and Treatment of Offenders Board to reduce the level of recidivism and risks in offenders. Therefore, a sound knowledge of working with and responding to offenders is required. Thorough managerial and leadership skills and the flexibility in responding to various tasks and responsibilities are essential. Proven ability to develop and administer a budget is critical, as is familiarity with the relevant legislation. Additionally, excellent communication skills and the ability to use a comprehensive database system are necessary. The postholder is on call twenty-four (24) hours a day and must provide his/her own transportation.

Works under the direction of the Director of Court Services to manage and administer the delivery of case management programmes in accordance with the relevant legislation, policies and procedures for the Department. The Manager is also responsible for managing and administering the operations of the Case Management Unit and for providing advice to clients and the public, and promoting the aims of the programmes. Further, the post holder performs other duties associated with the delivery of case management programmes as directed by the Director.
