Key responsibilities include:

• Set and schedule projected CME programming with recommendations from Medical Chiefs, attendees and wider physician group
• Work with accrediting body to ensure compliance and regulatory processes are completed with CME Accrediting body for educational activities.
• Work closely with CME coordinator to ensure program remains clinically relevant whilst incorporating best practice / evidence-based medicine free from commercial bias.
• Assist in providing introductory remarks for speakers and support CME coordinator with format of presentations.
• Follow regulatory processes, and ensure the same with any partnering with external entities requesting to be considered to be part of the CME program
• Meet with potential speakers to review material to be presented and ensure any regulatory measures are adhered to by the speakers, eg. Complete relevant disclosures with commentary upon the same given within the presentation, ensure presentation is free from commercial bias
• Regularly update the Chief of Staff as to status of the CME program and projected plan of events
• Interface with the Medical Chiefs to ensure that each discipline is represented educationally within the program and capturing key learnings each Chief recommends on an annual basis.
• Promotion of educational activities whilst incorporating quality
• Compliance with the CME international guidelines and best practices adhering to the standards as set by our accrediting body Education. Experience & Licensure:
• Current or eligible for registration with the Medical Board
• Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience or keen interest in Continuing Medical Education for Health Care Professionals
• Current registration with Medical Council in relevant jurisdiction
• Eligible to registered with Bermuda Medical Council
