We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Purchasing Manager to join our team. Your role will be to identify, evaluate, and acquire profitable merchandise for our store. This will include analyzing market trends, negotiating with suppliers, determining quantities and timing of deliveries, and managing inventory levels. Responsibilities include analyzing consumer buying patterns, reviewing sales records, negotiating with vendors, and attending trade shows.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 (five) years of experience as Purchaser/Buyer in a mid-to-large retail environment; Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field; Strong numerical and analytical skills; Excellent negotiation skills; Advanced experience in MS Office Suite; Ability to travel.
