Reporting to the Director - Cyber Risk Supervision, the Deputy Director - Cyber Risk will be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of the strategic plan; overseeing the operations of the Cyber Risk Team, ensuring alignment with, and giving support to the strategic and corporate objectives of the BMA. Key responsibilities include managing the research of emerging cyber threats, conducting meetings with BMA licenced entities' officials for cyber risk assessments, managing the creation of on-site operational cyber risk schedules, and providing management leadership to assigned teams.

Requirements

A master's degree in computer science or information security or equivalent bachelor's degree with professional qualifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.). Minimum of twelve (12) years' relevant experience in financial services IT risk or cybersecurity, with at least five (5) years in a cyber risk function of a financial regulator. Solid understanding of encryption, PKI, DLT, smart contracts, and international frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and COBIT.
