Aspida Re Services Ltd. is looking to fill the position of Actuary. This role will be central to our actuarial function, with a primary focus on rate setting, while also supporting a broad range of actuarial initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to pricing, model development, and cross-functional projects that enhance our actuarial capabilities. This position will report to the Deputy Chief Actuary. Responsibilities include assembling and validating pricing analysis data, performing analyses for rate setting meetings, developing pricing models, preparing results for senior management, contributing to data management, and supporting actuarial valuation processes.
Requirements
FSA or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Actuarial Science, or other numerate discipline. Minimum of 5 years of similar actuarial experience. Experience with US GAAP, US Stat or Bermuda EBS preferred. Proficiency with Moody's Axis or other actuarial modeling software is required. Experience with data management in R, Python, or related languages is a plus.
