The Managing Director, Senior Head of Structured Credit leads strategy, portfolio management, and investment decision-making for Arch's structured credit platform, overseeing securitized assets and a team of portfolio managers and analysts. The role reports directly to the CIO, Fixed Income and Equity.

Requirements

An undergraduate degree with a technical concentration; advanced degree, MBA is preferred. Experience in structuring, research and analysis of structured credit. Deep expertise in understanding the Credit Risk Transfer (CRT) space and credit sensitive structures (non-QM, jumbo). Deep understanding of mortgage residuals and mortgage servicing rights. Strong knowledge of CMBS including whole loans. Experience in structuring and financial modeling of CMOs. Talent to independently underwrite and build scenario & cash flow modeling and relative value analysis leading to stronger sector and security selection. Understand rating agency criteria and insurance company regulatory and capital regimes. Understand legal documents and tax & regulatory implications across the Arch platform. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on own initiative. Strong written communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
