Reporting to the VP Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), the AVP FP&A is responsible for leading the FP&A deliverables for Athene's Bermuda entities. Key responsibilities include leading quarterly and annual financial planning processes, working cross-functionally across Bermuda and the US, preparing analysis presentations for executive management and Boards, and suggesting process improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and professional designation (e.g. CPA, CFA, ASA) in Accounting, Finance, or Actuarial; 8+ years' financial reporting experience including FP&A and 4+ years' demonstrated leadership experience; at least 4 years of recent working experience with Bermuda Statutory, US Statutory, US GAAP, and Bermuda Economic Balance Sheet for reinsurance/insurance companies; experience with general ledger querying tools (Essbase preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
