Arch Reinsurance Ltd. (Bermuda) provides specialty property, casualty and life reinsurance products through reinsurance intermediaries worldwide. Work within the CAT Modelling and Actuarial teams to maintain and develop underwriting and financial reporting systems that support the company's optimized financial risk position in regards to its exposure to natural catastrophes and other manmade exposures. Duties include maintaining company software, developing methodologies for risk assessment, integrating third party modelling software, and supporting Actuarial and Financial teams.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in applied mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or a related quantitative discipline preferred; Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience performing a similar analytical or research-focused role within the re/insurance industry; Demonstrated experience supporting underwriting, actuarial, catastrophe modelling, or financial reporting functions; Advanced proficiency in SQL, MS Access, Visual Basic, and database management systems; Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills; Willingness and flexibility to work outside of normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
