Burrows Lightbourn is seeking an Events and Catering Coordinator to be responsible and accountable for the proactive leadership, direction, support and managing of the fundamental activities, functions of all vital phases of catering and internal events. Responsibilities Exemplify excellent customer service skills. Planning and delivery of corporate, private client and internal events. Maintain and increase customer relationships. Co-ordinate the set-up and breakdown of events when required. Responsible for the inventory management and maintenance of all event equipment. Any other relevant duties as assigned by management. Maintain Health & Safety standards. Must be flexible to work additional hours including nights, weekends and some public holidays. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 3 years in a Customer Service focused position. Previous Events/Restaurant/Bar experience preferred. Valid intermediate truck license. TIPS Responsible Beverage certified. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Will be required to lift boxes of up to 50 lbs. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Ability to work on own initiative, as well as in a team environment. • Must be highly customer oriented and responsible.
