The Maitre’d Sommelier is responsible for curating and leading the guest experience from arrival to departure, with particular emphasis on personalized wine and beverage storytelling, seamless service flow, and elevating the emotional rhythm of the dining experience. This leader ensures exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and a positive, engaged team culture. The Maitre’d Sommelier works closely with culinary leadership, the Director of Outlets and the F&B Director, to maintain service standards, drive revenue, and uphold The Loren’s brand identity and guest experience expectations.

Requirements

5+ years of progressive international Food & Beverage experience within luxury resorts, lifestyle hospitality, and / or high-end dining environments with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity; Expert-level product knowledge: Old & New World regions, producers, vintages; Minimum WSET Level 2 certification in wines and spirits; Inspirational leadership presence with the ability to motivate, coach, and empower diverse teams; Demonstrated commitment to exceptional guest service and polished service recovery; Proven record of wine program management (inventory controls, upselling); Ability to prioritize and perform under pressure in a fast-paced, guest-driven environment; Experience using Margin Edge and Micros strong asset.
