The Sous Chef plays a key leadership role in the hotel’s culinary team, supporting the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations. This position is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene are consistently maintained. The Sous Chef assists in menu planning, staff training, inventory management, and day-to-day kitchen supervision, ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional guest satisfaction. Key duties include assisting the Head Chef in planning and executing menus, supervising and training kitchen staff, monitoring inventory levels, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to new dish creations.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years' work culinary experience in a hotel; at least 2 years in a supervisory or Sous Chef role. Mastery of culinary techniques, knowledge of food safety regulations, strong leadership skills, and ability to manage kitchen operations under pressure.
