Brown & Co. has an opportunity for an Assistant Department Manager - Lifestyle. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the sales floor and associates in order to achieve sales and operational objectives within our 'lifestyle' product categories including major fragrance brands, Bath & Body Works, Clothing, Tourism and Home Décor. The candidate will report to the Department Manager. Primary Duties & Responsibilities include opening & closing the store, coordinating special sales events, supervising staff, inventory management, merchandising, and maintaining relationships with suppliers.

Requirements

A minimum of 4 years' experience in retail with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory/management role; Extensive customer service experience; Clear understanding of merchandising techniques; Solid understanding of computerized POS systems; Must be fully computer literate in Microsoft Office; Sound and reliable work ethic; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Must be willing to work varied hours, weekends and holidays.
