The Bermuda School of Music invites applications from suitably qualified teachers to fill the following position. Candidates will hold a degree in Music (guitar) with preference for those with graduate degrees in music. Applicants must have 5 years of postgraduate teaching experience. Applicants should have experience of working with all ages, including adults and young children. Applicants must also be able to take advanced students through all levels of international music examinations (ABRSM and RCM). Teachers are expected to teach individual and group guitar lessons (acoustic, electric, ukulele), host student recitals and provide student progress reports. Teaching experience and qualifications in Rockschool would also be beneficial. Teachers are expected to perform in faculty concerts and community events. Applicants are required to submit video samples of their teaching (group and individual) and performance.
