Play with a Purpose Nursery School invites applications from qualified Early Years Teachers to join our team in September 2026. This position is Monday to Friday, 8:15 a.m. – 12:30p.m., with an additional two hours per week allocated for planning and documentation. There may also be opportunities for afternoon work until 3:30 p.m. The school operates on a school-year calendar; therefore, the role is approximately 38 weeks per year. Qualifications and Experience We are looking for someone who: Holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field Has experience working with children aged 1-4 years in a centre-based classroom setting Demonstrates a strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice Has the ability to thoughtfully plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences Has the ability to observe and document learning and development Values respectful relationships with children and families and is confident conducting parent-teacher meetings Works collaboratively and contributes positively to a team environment Holds current CPR and SCARS certification Knowledge of the RIE approach is highly desirable
