Warwick Academy is an international Baccalaureate (IB) World School and an accredited Council of International Schools (CIS) member school catering to students from Reception Year through to Year 13. The school offers an Early Years Programme, the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and UK National Curriculum from Years 1 to 9, the IGCSE in Year 10 & 11, and the IB Diploma Programme, IB Career-related Programme (using BTEC subjects), IB Individual Subjects, and a Dual Enrolment programme with the Bermuda College in Year 12 & 13. In addition, the school has vibrant Music, Drama, Sport and Community Service programmes and offers a variety of additional co-curriculars.The following Secondary positions are required for September 2026.Leadership of the Secondary Economics, Business & Computing Department.Required to lead the teaching of IB (Higher & Standard Level) and IGCSE Economics, and support the teaching of IB and IGCSE Business Studies/Management; as well as make a contribution to Key Stage 3 teaching.

Requirements

This role requires leadership experience in the same or similar role.Must hold a teacher qualification at the Secondary School level, and ideally hold an appropriate honours degree in the main teaching subject.At least 3 years' teaching experience in the educational programmes offered – International Baccalaureate, I/GCSE and KS3 (or equivalents).Proven external examination success is essential when teaching the IB and I/GCSE programmes.It is expected that the successful candidates will have well developed interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively with a highly motivated team of teachers, and must be prepared to contribute to the school's extensive co-curricular programme.Successful applicants will be subject to a Police criminal check, First Aid & CPR training, SCARS training, and must meet the requirements for the Bermuda Educators Council (BEC) Teacher’s License.
