Recruiter (full-time)

BHB ensures the highest in quality health care through service excellence, education and leadership. We seek qualified, highly motivated, and experienced professionals to work in a supportive but demanding environment. Key responsibilities include: Proactively identify and discuss recruitment needs with the hiring manager, in preparation for upcoming talent acquisition requirements. Work with hiring managers to determine and confirm key candidate requirements, skills and competencies by reviewing current job description and considering the business needs of the department. Develop advertising and sourcing strategies for hard to fill roles, determining based on quality of hire data, which mediums yield the best candidates. Accountable to ensure reference checks/ pre-employment tests, criminal background checks, sick absence checks and ensure employee health screens are completed on all successful candidates. Maintain regular communication and follow-up with the candidate throughout the entire recruitment process to ensure excellent candidate care and service. Provide support and general advice to department managers on best practice recruitment activities and selection by studying job descriptions and requirements. Educate hiring managers on HCMS utilization. Research trends and recruiting techniques in order to be competitive when recruiting talent. Ensure recruitment process is compliant with local employment legislation. Qualifications & Experience required: Bachelor's Degree in Business or a recognized professional qualification in Human Resources. Five (5) years of progressive HR experience in Recruitment including responsibility for; sourcing and selecting candidates, networking, and relationship management. Certificate in Resourcing Talent (CIPD) is preferred. Operate effectively under pressure and within challenging deadlines. Extremely knowledgeable in conducting different kinds of interviews (ie competency based, structured etc.) Must be detail oriented and able to follow through on issues to resolution.
