Arch Capital Group is seeking a VP, AMS Lead to support the global deployment of the Arch Management System (AMS). AMS combines Arch values with the best of Lean management to deliver operational excellence. AMS will be deployed globally across Arch to drive quality and efficiency for an improved experience for our intemal and external customers. The successful candidate will be a member of an AMS deployment team responsible for the execution and implementation of Lean initiatives. You will use Lean techniques to drive continuous improvements including Lean management, facilitate meetings, and provide coaching to business partners. This position requires a passionate, results-oriented and data-driven analyst who can influence and drive multiple improvement initiatives in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders. This role reports directly to the Global Lead Business Excellence. Job Responsibilities: • Work as a team member in the deployment of lean management system practices to support a culture of continuous improvement. • Use Lean management and methodologies to engage teams to solve problems and improve quality and efficiency. • Work with the Global Lead Business Excellence to manage, plan, and execute assigned AMS initiatives. • Perform quantitative analysis of key process indicators to identify opportunities for process improvement. • Help drive local communication, including project updates and other initiatives. • Support consistent deployment and quality of the AMS methodology. • Train and coach business partners on AMS concepts and methodologies. Minimum Required Qualifications, Skills and Experiences: • 7 years of experience in a managerial role, as well as 5 years of recent experience managing and implementing operational business and workplace process improvement tools, methods, and techniques. • Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Mathematics or related field. • Demonstrated and significant experience in the application of Lean methodologies and the deployment of Lean initiatives within a global reinsurance environment. A professional accounting designation or Lean Certification is a must. • Must demonstrate an open mindset and willingness to advance a Lean skillset in a fast changing and dynamic environment. • Demonstrated project management experience. • Proficiency in data mining and analysis. • Good team player with the proven ability to work with and manage a wide cross-section of people in various locations. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Must be willing to travel regularly (up to 80%).
